So Atlas went over to Newcastle for the first match of a double header. They arrived nice and early so the coaches spent the time getting them warmed up and ready to play expansive, hard and clever rugby. Come kick off the hard warm up paid dividends as Atlas ran in a couple of quick tries to take the lead.
Newcastle then replied with a couple of tries to show that they weren't there to be run over.
Both teams then continued to exchange tries.
Half time quickly appeared and the troops were all brought together and tactics for the second half were put down to the team. The big one being stop their good player at the source.
As the game then restarted you could clearly see Atlas had listened to the instructions and halted many of Newcastle's attacks, whilst slowly turning most attacking opportunity into tries. In the end Atlas ran away to be convincing winners in a very hard fought game.

There were many great performances in the game but Heath was chosen as Player of the Week due to the step up he made with great tackles and communication. He came off the pitch saying "it was the most fun I have ever had on a rugby pitch!"

So the Atlas stones keep rolling onto next week where we face Newcastle at home to keep this winning streak alive.
